VenueIndex™ started with a single frustrating experience: booking a property that looked perfect on paper,
paying a significant hotel contract, and arriving to find that half of what was promised either didn't exist or
didn't work.
The information was available. It just wasn't organized, scored, or honest.
So we built the tool we wished we'd had.
What we believe
Hotel marketing is not research. Star ratings measure guest satisfaction, not group performance. A beautiful
lobby has nothing to do with whether the AV system will hold up through a two-day conference.
Event planners — and the companies that trust them — deserve objective information. Not a fam trip, not a
sales pitch, not a relationship discount.
Who we are
VenueIndex™ is a team of event industry veterans, researchers, and data obsessives based in Texas. We
have collectively planned and executed hundreds of corporate offsites, conferences, and multi-day
programs across the country. We know what breaks, what matters, and what hotels will never put in a
proposal
Our commitment
No property pays to be listed or scored. No score is influenced by a hotel relationship. If a property scores
poorly, that score stands. Our value to you depends entirely on our independence, and we take that
seriously.
